I want to blog about financial abundance so I’ve decided to read the booklet that I’ve found in our old house. It was a very old booklet published more than 40 years ago. I was curious and interested to read that book simply because the title is very enticing to read.
“ENDING YOUR FINANCIAL WORRIES”
I thought it is all about creating business, investing in bonds and stock market but then I was wrong. It talks about a certain kind of investment that gives a highest return and that is TITHING.
The statement in the booklet is so profound and it says:
“Are you behind financially? In debt? your unfaithfulness in paying God his tenth may be the reason!”
When God receives his portion of all you income, God becomes your partner, sharing in your profits. He causes you to prosper. The man who pays God’s tenth is a prosperous man—not necessarily wealthy—but one whose actual needs are supplied
I’ve been a catholic since birth and I’ve never heard of the word TITHE before not until July 2011 when I read the blog of Bo Sanchez (dont-cheat-yourself-from-the-rewards-of-tithing). From then on, my mentality was changed.
The law of attraction expert Joe Vitale mentioned TITHING in one of his book, “The Greatest Money Making Secret in History”. He said,
The spiritual law of financial income seems to happen when you give
money freely to wherever you get your spiritual nourishment, with a
small expectation that somehow, some way, some day, your finances will
increase as a result.

small expectation that somehow, some way, some day, your finances will
increase as a result.
I believe in tithing. I may not be a millionaire but God blessed me with so much things that are more important and I’m grateful of that. I want to end this blog with a verse from the bible
Remember
this–a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But
the one who plants generously will get a generous
crop. You must each make up
your own mind as to how much you should give. Don’t give reluctantly or
in response to pressure. For God loves the person who gives cheerfully.
And
God will generously provide
all you need and plenty left over to share with others. (2 Cor 9:6-8
NLT)

Just like what Mary Ward said,
“Sometimes the best way to say something is to let someone who’s already said it best say it all.”
